The first step in doing business with Protective is getting appointed. It’s a simple process. Just follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1:

Broker/Dealers and Financial Institutions
Contact your back office for instructions.

Independent Agents
Call our sales desk to get connected with a BGA in your area. Your local BGA will initiate the appointment process with Protective Life.

Pennsylvania Advisors and Independent Agents: You must be appointed with Protective Life Insurance prior to soliciting business on behalf of Protective Life

Step 2: Annuity Training

The next step is completing your state’s annuity training requirements, if applicable, and Protective Life annuity product training.

Optional Step 3: Errors & Omissions Insurance Program (Independent Agents Only)
